Chefs for A Cause

Chefs for A Cause is an event organized by Project Happy Feet to raise funds for MILK (Mainly I Love Kids) and the beneficiaries of Project Happy Feet. The fund-raising initiative sees a gathering of 10 local chefs to share their expertise for charity.
 
On 28 December 2009 at Swissotel Merchant Court Singapore, the 10 chefs cooked up a 3-course meal for some 600 children beneficiaries of the MILK Fund. This was made complete by entertainment and fringe activities, with compliments from our sponsors.

On the same evening, sponsors and selected donors were invited to an evening cocktail event. The standing cocktail event featured special menu items from each local chef, to the delight of our guests. During the event, plaques of appreciation were also presented to selected individual donors, corporate donors and sponsors.

Launch of Recipes from the Heart
On 4 August 2010, a cookbook comprising 40 recipes from the same 10 chefs will be launched. Entitled Recipes from the Heart, the cookbook includes inspirational quotes from the chefs, and hopes to raise a total of $340,000.
