Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan did it again – 6 years running!
Since 2013, the resort on Cebu island in the Philippines has been organising the resort edition of Project Happy Feet Slipper Race to support education of underprivileged students in the community.
Organised entirely by the staff members of the resort, the event saw strong support from not just guests of the resort, but also staff and crew of local partners, suppliers, and law enforcement agencies.
Participants form teams and walk in slippers for a distance of 3-5 kilometers on the resort ground, then take on fun group challenges along the way, ending the event with a celebratory reception on the beach sponsored by the resort.
100% of the registration proceeds for this year’s Slipper Race was channeled to support the Bantay Edukasyon Program of ABS-CBN Inc’s Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation. A total of PHP336,500 (about SGD8600) was raised.
