Thank you for making HUGS NEPAL possible

Through the tireless efforts of power volunteer Emily Chang, with support from her good friend Eileen Lim, project drivers Lester and Sox, and the backing from the core team of Project Happy Feet, and friends and families of Emily, Eileen, Lester, Sox and all involved, the HUGS NEPAL Charity Fund-raising dinner which was held at The American Club on the 21st of April was a tremendous success, raising SGD 46,937.00 in total for the school building project in Namkheli Village in rural Nepal.

SGD25,000 has been disbursed on 25 May 2012 to Be Human Nepal, our partner in Nepal who will be overseeing the school-building project. The remaining funds will be disbursed within a year to support the second phase of development.
