Grab runs campaign to support School Life Fund @ South East

Grab, the leading Super app in Southeast Asia, has picked Project Happy Feet as a partner for its #SaveYourSole campaign which ran from 28 June 2019.

On Grab’s Facebook page, the appeal post read:

“We all get our kicks in different ways… Some from delivering a meal, others from the thrill of a steal. But if you’re into doing good, you can now turn your GrabRewards points into karma points.

Help someone in need to get both feet off the ground by making a $2 shoe donation with just 800 points, from inside your GrabRewards catalogue. And because all great things come in pairs, we’ll match your contribution dollar-for-dollar.

#SaveYourSole by making a donation before 7 July 2019 and we’ll send all the proceeds to the ‘School of Life Fund @ South East’ by Project Happy Feet, to support underprivileged and special needs children be on their way to a brighter future. Learn more about the cause at http://cfac.projecthappyfeet.org/support-our-cause/

Ps. Don’t worry, we won’t use GrabFood delivery bags to send our shoes.”

To be launched by Mayor Dr Maliki bin Osman of South East district at the Chefs for a Cause event on 7 July 2019, the School Life Fund financially supports underprivileged students from mainstream primary and secondary schools by taking care of their needs at school, and funds programmes for underprivileged students attending special needs schools so they can learn skills that will help them make a living.

The idea for the fund was inspired by the chefs behind Chefs for a Cause who wanted to make a difference through their culinary skills. 100% of the proceeds from Chefs for a Cause will go towards this fund.

Project Happy Feet would like to thank Grab for partnering us through this initiative carried out by their staff team, and for joining us in our effort to make footprints of change.
